Three German sales for TV-Loonland

German-based kids' producer TV-Loonland has made several key sales to Germany's free-to-air kids' channel Ki.Ka (formerly Kinderkanal), backed by public broadcasters ARD and ZDF.

Cramp Twins (26×30′), Three Friends & Jerry (39×30′) and Yvon of the Yukon (13×30′) will premiere on Ki.Ka in November.

Commenting on the deal, TV-Loonland's head of sales Marzenna Czubowicz said: {It's a testimony to the high calibre of the TV-Loonland catalogue that, despite the limited acquisitions occurring in Germany at the moment, we've sold three distinctive properties to Ki.Ka.{

Cramp Twins is a TV-Loonland, Sunbow Entertainment and Cartoon Network UK co-production. Directed by Becky Bristow and based on the graphic comic novels by Brian Wood, it is a story of two 10-year-old twins Wayne and Lucien Cramp. The series offers a quirky take on sibling rivalry.

Three Friends & Jerry is a co-production between TV-Loonland, Sweden's Happy Life Animation and Nickelodeon UK. The series follows four ten-year-old boys who are trying to grow up, and Jerry's attempts to join the gang.

Yvon of the Yukon is produced by Vancouver-based Studio B Productions in association with Alliance Atlantis, YTV and Telefilm Canada, and distributed by TV-Loonland. The series follows a stupid C17th French explorer Yvon Ducharm, who has been trapped inside a block of polar ice for the past 300 years.
